Equi-Bow
What is Equibow?
Equi-Bow is an evolution of bowen as well as Feldenkrais, Myofascial release, Acupressure and CranioSacral techniques. Equi-Bow helps maintain a balanced body.
Equi-Bow is a gentle non-invasive series of moves that affects the fascia, muscles and nervous system. It addresses a broad range of problems and injuries. It restores structural integrity, promotes self healing throughout the body and optimizes muscle condition and performance.
What may I see during a session?
The Equi-bow technique is a gentle touch technique using the fingers, thumbs or the hand, which then sends vibrations through the superficial fascia and underlying structures. After a series of moves the horse is allowed to process for a varying length of time. At the end of the session exercises and stretches tailored to you and your horse may be suggested.
Equi-Tape
What is Equi-Tape?
Equi-Tape is an elastic kinesiology tape designed for horses. It interacts with the skin and the neurosensory and mechanoreceptors associated with it. It can be used for training or rehabilitation. Equi-Tape can increase circulation and oxygen supply, reduce fatigue, assist joint and muscle movement, aid in healing and recovery time, decrease inflammation, and support joints, ligaments and tendons.
